Topic: is it Werner or Verner?

I've heard von croy be called werner and verner. In the last issue of EGM, they referred to him as "Werner Von Croy". It that his name???------------------

Yup; just checked and the tr4 manual says werner.------------------

It sounds German to me, and in German the "W" is pronounced as a "V".
The bigger mystery to me is why this guy who was a devil-may-care archeologist in Last Revelation, was suddenly the owner a major industry in Chronicles. And what exactly did Von Croy Industries do? And why was Lara justified in breaking into this guy's place of business and stealing the Iris?Man, I really need a hobby...

good point, if they knew that it was her, then why wasn't she later arrested? Hmmmm...------------------

I don't think Werner knew she was the one who stole it.
I mean that level was sorta a under cover type mission.------------------

David is right. Werner is German, and in German the letter w is pronunced like a v.------------------

Of course he knew it was her... he saw her on the video monitors. She ought to be arrested for murder, thievery, breaking and entering, etc, etc. If I were Von Croy, I'd let her rot in that pyramid.IP: Logged |
